Although the weather was gloomy and rainy, we still enjoyed it. Had the whole place to ourselves! We were early for check in, but our room ready, so she checked us in. There was only staff and was extremely friendly. Room: We stayed in the turtle room in the basement. It was so clean, laminate floors and the washroom was very big and the one thing I loved is how they upgraded all the electrical work with dimming lights throughout the room and washroom. Kitchen:. There is a public kitchen for guests to use. It has cutlery, fridge, microwave and toaster oven. Breakfast: breakfast area has a large dining area. It's self serve with cereal, muffins, toast, bagels, scrambled eggs and French toast. There's yogurt, orange juice, milk, cream sand almond milk in the mini fridge. It was very b filling for our family of 4. Beach and Dock:. Beach had lots of sand to play in and make sand castles, the water was warm, but we didn't swim in it as there were a lot of under water plants. My husband and son fished from the dock and caught many fish! It's a great fishing spot. Water looked very deep from the dock. Canoe, kayak, paddle boats were available to use with life jackets. There's also a small playground for kids and outdoor BBQ with firepit.

The setting of this hotel was exceptional. The amenities on the shore were fantastic and our room overlooked the lake with views well beyond our expectations. We enjoyed our picnic dinner on the doc after a glorious and serene time paddling the lake. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the temperature was perfect and easy to adjust as needed, the shower was quite satisfactory, and the staff was easy to communicate with. Can't believe we found this amazing gem.

We loved staying here! The staff was really friendly, the rooms are beautiful and the beds are amazing, so comfortable! There is a little beach in front of the house where you can chill, swim, go paddle boarding, kayaking (all provided from the lake house and you can use them for free)or even do a barbecue it’s so beautiful it feels surreal! I would absolutely recommend to stay here and I hope to comeback to this little paradise someday.

The purpose of our trip was to do some cross country skiing. The location was great for both Arrowhead and Algonquin. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and accommodation was very quiet. There was no breakfast served but a tray was left in our room with muffins, cookies, granola bars and fruit. Coffee and tea were available in a common area. We would definitely stay here again.

Kathy

Private, quiet, blackout blinds, fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee pot or individual cup, lakeside to enjoy a beverage, newly renovated. comfortable bed. Would stay again for longer stay to enjoy surroundings. All the necessary items for your stay. Very close to town. Pleasant greeting with full review of amentities and use of Fob for access.
